Wave Lombok is a small, family-owned pair of private villas — not a resort. There is no lobby, no spa, and no restaurant of our own, which is rather the point. What there is instead is space, quiet, and a team that looks after you properly. The two houses sit at the back of our own beachfront estate, a couple of minutes’ walk down a private path — entirely on our land, so you never leave the property — from a beach that is almost always empty.
Villa Serangan
Villa Serangan has four bedrooms and sleeps up to ten, with a private pool. It looks out over the mountains and surrounding greenery, with a partial view of the sea beyond — the more open of the two outlooks. It is the natural choice for a larger group or two families travelling together, and it takes its name from the Serangan surf break a few minutes further down the coast.
Villa Selong Belanak
Villa Selong Belanak has three bedrooms and sleeps up to eight, with its own pool and a separate maid’s room. Its views are of the mountains, hills, and forest that wrap the estate — green rather than blue, and beautifully quiet. It suits a family or a group of friends who want the same privacy and service in a slightly more intimate house.
One villa, or both
Each house is booked on its own, and most guests take just one. If your group is larger — a milestone birthday, a family reunion, a small celebration — you can take both together and have the whole estate to yourselves, sleeping up to eighteen across the two houses. Choosing the right house for your group
The honest short version: if you are ten or more, or you want the wider view, book Villa Serangan. If you are eight or fewer and value a cosier footprint, Villa Selong Belanak is the one. Both share the same setting, the same team, and the same inclusions, so you are really choosing on size and outlook rather than on quality.
A few things are worth weighing. Count your group against real bedrooms, not just the headline “sleeps” number — a house that sleeps ten is only comfortable for ten if the beds are configured the way your group needs, which is why we list them plainly. When to come
South Lombok is a year-round destination, but the seasons have their own character, and they affect both availability and rate. The shoulder months are quieter and often better value, and the wet season is at its greenest, with short heavy showers rather than all-day rain. Start with your dates and group size, since those drive everything else. You may find our villas on Airbnb or Booking.com, and you are welcome to book there. But booking directly through our own booking page is almost always the better deal. Getting here
The villas sit near Selong Belanak on the south coast, about 35 minutes from Kuta Lombok and about 40 minutes from Lombok International Airport. The Mandalika circuit and its tourism corridor are close enough for a day out and far enough that you never hear them.
